This we the year 8 are going to college.Then next year we will be year 8

Technology

On Tuesdays 3 classes went down to  Tamaki College for  Technology. The groups I go to is graphics and the teacher is Mr Pineda,he  teach us about drawing and using netbooks for Images for pictures to draw on our paper.

And the other things we do is coloring painting and making a burger box for us to use.

Then we paint the burger box and dry it up on the wall for us to use when we come to tech next time. Art is one of my favorite thing in tech that I enjoy. And tech is my favorite thing that I in my life.Then will come to tech next year after when school is finished

Athletics

On Friday the whole school had Athletics we did shot put high jump and sprinting. 
First we did the sack race.We had to run to the other side and then back I came last on the sack race.Then we went to the next activity it was celled soft ball we had to throw the ball high has we can.Later we went to skipping I couldn't skip at all
Later then we had a Tug-o War. We pulled the rope we lost heaps of time on the rope pull then we on the other one.We lost heaps of time on tug-o War.
after that we went to the next one celled the sack race I came last on the sack race
The next one we did was soft ball it was cool first we did was we had to throw the ball high has we can
.After that we went to the next Activity it was called skipping I couldn't skip at all so I had to go at the back of the line.Then the next one was called jumping then my group got some lollies for doing a good job at jumping. Then the next one was shot put the shot put ball was heavy and my hands were saw then we went to high jump when I jump it was saw and hurting when I jump.

After high jump the bell rang for home time.  Athletics was cool Then the rain stop

Auckland Museum

On Tuesday year 7 went to the Auckland Museum when we went inside the Museum we eat our morning tea.After that we went to look at some maori pattern.After that we had to draw the maori pattern then we walked around the museum taking picture of the maori pattern.After that we went inside the mare to look at some more maori pattern.After that we went inside the volcano house after that the volcano house was move then I got scary then the house stop.After that we went to go and have lunch after that we went outside to take some more photos of the auckland museum.After that we went back to school.

Holidays

Title:On the Holiday I was watching TV with my brothers we watch ghost rider.After that we were playing outside we play wwe then my brother won the match then we had a second round then I won the match.Then we went to the shop and buy some milks.After that we went to a party it was cool we had lots of food and drinks it was nice.After that we went back home to sleep.

Then I ran to the finish line, glad it was finished.

New Zealand rowers

The New Zealand team has won lots of gold medals in Amsterdam at the 2014 World Championship  . Emma Twigg and the double of Zoe Stevenson and Fiona Bourke both won their first world title. Mahe  Drysdale was the second. Hamish bond and eric murray won two gold medals.

The New Zealand rowers did a good job for the  people of New Zealand.I felt happy they did so well at the regatta. They have 9 medals at this regatta. The New Zealand rowers are doing a good job preparing for the next Olympic Games.

Slamball is like basketball it has four nets on each side and the trampolines.You can hit people on slamball.

Dirt on my shoe

This story is called dirt on my shoe and the people are Jordan and Kaitlyn they were walking kaitlyn pointed to Jordan shoe and said are you sure you want to take those new tennis shoe.Jordan and kaitlyn were searching for fossils then Jordan’s dad was calling him to come back home and then Kaitlyn mum added.Jordan grabbed a handful of dirt and let it sift through his hand the dirt landed right on his new shoe

My Mascot

This is Tahi, he is the first mascot that I have designed for the commonwealth games. Tahi is 23 years old and he is from New Zealand. He is wearing a soccer uniform because he’s good at soccer. I chose the name Tahi because Tahi means ‘number one’ in Maori. Tahi is the first New Zealander to win the Gold medal at the Commonwealth games in 2014. He is very fast and fit like the competing athletes. His job at the Commonwealth games would be to look after people and stop any fights from happening.

David Nyika

At the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow Scotland, boxer David Nyika age 18 years old won his first gold medal in the light heavyweight division. David is New Zealand's first ever boxer to win a gold medal since the 1990 Commonwealth Games.He was very happy.

Holiday

In the holiday me and my family went to buy some stuff for us to where for school after that we went to get something to eat we had K.F.C.To eat then we went back home.After that we play outside.I play with my brother.

On the weeked I play on my games like saint row 3 its a cool game to play.I won the game because I was to good.After that we play other game it was call fight night round 4 then I won the game.

The toucan lives in the upper canopy of the rainforest. The toucan eats insects, frogs, and reptiles. The toucan eats other birds’ eggs as well. They are not very good at flying, instead they hop from tree to tree. They sound like a frog.

Youth Town

On Friday our class went to Youth Town. When we got there we put our bags in the room and got out our swimming togs. After that we got changed into our swimming togs.Then we went in pool and swam.After swimming we play games like April Pool and table tennis. After that we played basketball. Then we did art. I made

flowers and painted the flowers. We had fun. After that we went back to school.

Swimming

On Tuesday our class went to the G.i pools to learn how to Swim.

We used the flutter boards to learn how to kick our legs.

After that we had to Swim free.
